The name is self-explanatory: Sightrunning is a combination of sightseeing and running.
This environmentally friendly tourist offer is a unique way of exploring Berlin in “jogging mode” guided by a professional guide and runner.
How fit do I need to be?
We cater for all levels of fitness as you set the pace and the breaks. Our main focus is ensuring you are having fun whilst moving.
Do I need running experience?
No. We believe Sightrunning is suitable for everyone. Whether you are a beginner or a marathon finisher, everyone is welcome at Berlin Sightrunning. Additionally, we can advise novices on correct running styles and are able to assist experienced runners with improving their technique.
How long is a tour?
You are in control and decide on how long you want to run for. Typically, tours last between 60 to 90 minutes. We pride ourselves on being flexible and customising tours to suit. Just ask everything is possible!
Where do we meet?
For guests of our great city, the best meeting place is the centrally located hotel where you are staying. Alternatively, we are also able to arrange suitable meeting places within the city if you prefer or are a fellow Berliner.
When can I run?
Tours are possible at any time. Early mornings are especially ideal as it allows us to explore before the city wakes up.
Can I run with a group?
Yes. If you want to run with friends, family or colleagues, Berlin Sightrunning is the place for you. The scope and pace are determined by the least able member to ensure the tour remains fun for everyone.
Due to our tailor-made concept, Berlin Sightrunning only offers private tours. This enables us to respond to our guest’s individual needs and prevents randomly mixed groups.
Which sights are shown?
City center tours can include Brandenburger Tor, Reichstagsbuilding, Governmental District– just to mention some of the highlights
Ultimately, it´s up to you – or if you are running with your friends, family and colleagues – the group. Berlin Sightrunning adapts each tour individually. If we meet at your hotel, it naturally influences the focus of the route. However, we are proud to be able to tailor tours on request to create a unique experience.
Do we take breaks and photo stops?
Yes. You decide when, where and how often you want to take a break or a photo.
Do we use public transport?
No. The tours are circular, so the route ends at the starting point; hence there is no need to take public transport during the run.
