Berlin Sightrunning

Sightrunning, Sightjogging, City Running Tours – there are several terms for one of the latest trends in cities all over the world. The name is self-explanatory; Sightrunning is a combination of running and sightseeing.

As both a professional historical guide and a passionate runner, I would like to join you on a run. I will provide you with all the interesting information regarding Berlin as well as all the tales Berlin has to offer. You set the pace, decide where to stop for taking photos and it is up to you how long you want to run for.

Sightrunning Tour 1: Historical Berlin

Sightrunning tour through Berlin’s history in “fast forward” – from the first settlements to a modern capital.

Distance: ca. 7,3 km
Duration: ca. 1,5 hrs

Sightrunning Tour 2: Government District and Tiergarten

This city running tour goes from the Great Elector’s hunting ground to the heart of democracy.

Distance: ca. 5,8 km
Duration: ca. 1 hr

Sightrunning Tour 3: Berlin Wall Tour

„No one has the intention of erecting a wall” (Walter Ulbricht, June 1961) – despite this quote we’ll discover the Berlin wall on this city jogging tour.

Duration: ca. 1,5 – 2 hrs

Sightrunning Tour 4: Palace Tour with Charlottenburg Palace and Bellevue Palace

Sightseeing while jogging: along the Spree through green Berlin to Charlottenburg Palace and back to Bellevue Palace

Duration: approx. 2 hours

Sightrunning Tour 5: SO 36 and East Side Gallery

From the revolutionary Kreuzberg in the 80’s to the trendy Friedrichshain (Landwehr Canal, Görlitzer Park, East Side Gallery)
