On Sunday, 8th October 2017, the Great 10k Berlin took place for the tenth time. Like every year, the race is a good opportunity for all enthusiastic runners to finish the season with a beautiful run through Berlin. The unique scenery of the Charlottenburg Palace is reason enough to participate. The route is architectonically diverse: it goes along the Strasse des 17. Juni in direction of the Victory Column, past the Gedaechtniskirche (Memorial Church) and back to the finish line at Charlottenburg Palace. The Berlin Zoo is an extraordinary highlight of the race – the route goes past lions, hippopotami and many other zoo inhabitants.
